Accra Regional Hospital Children's Ward honors ADK Consortium

April 18, 2019

The Greater Accra Regional Hospital Children's Ward and its administration has shown immense appreciation towards ADK Consortium's contributions to the Ward over the years by surprising the Consortium with a heartfelt citation.

This was presented as ADK Consortium as part of its corporate social responsibility and also the Easter celebrations, donated several quantities of toiletries, medical equipment, story books, toys, fruit drinks, biscuits, sanitary and personal care items to the Children's Ward.

In 2015, ADK Consortium officially launched an annual charity project dubbed "ADK Gifts of Hope Project", dedicated to providing assistance to the needy and under-priviledged children in Society. This project is carried out quarterly and at the end of every year.

Throughout the years, ADK Consortium has diligently kept to its promise of helping put smiles on the faces of our young generation.

Presenting the items were Ama Frimpomaa Adjei Ayim, the Media & Public Relations Officer together with Marklina Dadzie, Human Resources Officer, who narrated the history behind the CSR which was birthed under the leadership of the Executive Chairman of ADK Consortium, Ing. Michael Krakue.

She said the items were to support the Children's Ward and to help bring comfort and joy to the children.

“We want to make a huge difference because we have seen first-hand what it is like to be deprived of basic necessities to good health and sound mind. The staff at the Children's Ward are excellent and you can’t underestimate the work done here every day. To me there is no picture so beautiful as smiling, bright-eyed, happy children. This is our way of saying thank you" she reiterated.
