On Thursday, 9th February 2023, ADK Consortium visited the Department of Child Health in the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Ridge to donate essential hospital items and groceries. Items donated included a wheelchair, mobile oxygen cylinder, thermometers, oxygen flow meters, nebulising machine and its chambers, sanitary products, electrical kettles, drinks, surgical masks, medical gloves, etc.

In 2015, ADK Consortium officially launched an annual charity project dubbed ADK "Gifts of Hope Project", dedicated to assisting the needy and underprivileged children in Society. Before and since the inception of this project, ADK Consortium has diligently kept to its promise of putting smiles on the faces of our young generation. Over the years, this particular activity has become a marked event on the annual schedule of ADK as a major Corporate Social Responsibility, one that the Leadership of the firm herald in high esteem.

The presentation was made by Noel Adu-Gyamfi (Civil Engineer) and supported by Marklina Aba Dadzie (Human Resources Manager), Jane Sam (Legal and Compliance Officer),
Priscilla Addo (Administration), and Charles Papa Stephens (Architect). The items were warmly received by the Head of the Department and the various medical practitioners of the various units under the department which included Doctors, Nurses, Administrators, and representatives from the Audit Unit.

“ADK Consortium exists not just as a firm that focuses on its core business but also to make the effort of ensuring those in our immediate vicinity benefit from the rewards that come from our hard work”, Noel emphasised.

Dr. Nihad Salifu, the acting Head of the Department together with her team had loads of kind words to say about the thoughtful gesture by ADK: “You have touched us in ways that is very unique to us. You asked for our needs and responded to those needs, which is very important to us. Even though ADK’s work has to do with construction in infrastructure, it has also committed to constructing the future of children. A healthy child equals a healthy future, and ADK being able to meet these children in their most vulnerable moment is very significant”, she reiterated.

The team expressed their profound gratitude for the kind gesture and their heartfelt appreciation to the Management and Staff of ADK Consortium and prayed for God's divine blessings for greater success for the Company.
