After the successful completion of the New Head Office and Workshop on the Tema Motorway, Toyota Ghana Company Ltd. has engaged ADK Consortium Ltd to offer All-In Consultancy Services (which includes Designs, Bills of Quantities, Tender Processes for Contractor Selection and Construction Supervision) for the construction of An Administrative Office, Automobile Workshops and Engineering School in collaboration with the University of Ghana.
Work commenced officially on the proposed facility at the University of Ghana campus in January 2021. Contractors Messers Ariu/Krane Construction JV won the tender to construct this ground-breaking for Toyota Ghana Limited.
The Facility will have two major components;
- A training centre to provide training to prospective Automobile Engineering students of the University of Ghana and
- A combined workshop facility for Service and Body and Paint (B&P) and an Administrative Office.
The facility sit on approximately 6.00acres and also have accompanying staff facilities and other supporting facilities.
The proposed site is located on the Northern boundaries of the University of Ghana land off the Atomic Junction- Haatso road. It is close to the Legon Botanical Gardens.
